City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow, India is a unique school with many firsts to its credit. City Montessori School, has registered its name in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the world’s largest school in a single city with more than 56000 pupils. It is also the proud recipient of the 2002 UNESCO Prize for Peace Education. It is the first school in the world to introduce, promote and institutionalize the concept of Quality Circles and Total Quality Management in Education in the year 1992.
CMS Kanpur Road Campus added another dimension to the school activities by organizing the World’s 1st International School Cricket Premier League and forming the International Council for School Cricket (ICSC) in the year 2011. This was the first ever cricket event for schools in the world whose phenomenal success and appreciation across the world led to yet more such events in succession which was the 2nd ISCPL in 2012. The 3rd ISCPL was organized from 19th to 23rd December, 2014.
4th ISCPL in 2016 8th to 13rd December, 2016. The grand success of these four events and the increasing participation from countries world wide has really encouraged us and have strengthened our efforts to create a wonderful opportunity for students to participate in a healthy and positive environment that teaches them values, ethics and in turn empower the student community by promoting competition without conflict.
At CMS, all the activities are oriented to towards promotion of brotherhood, peace, harmony and unity and the 5th ISCPL is yet another event which shall support this cause. I extend my cordial invitation to your school to participate in the 5th International School Cricket Premier League (ISCPL) going to be organized from 8th to 13th December, 2018. I am very sure that the fourth ISCPL is really going to be a celebration of sport and life and will try to instill the virtues of team spirit, fair play, self control, courage and persistence within the participants and in turn make them better human beings.
